Welcome to Scruton MCC, a community space that is found in the midst of Feneketlen-tó and Gellért-hegy The once-famous Flamenco Hotel’s building now houses our cultural and educational space. Get to know its history and discover the possibilities Scruton MCC offers.
The building operated as a hostel during its 1966 infancy. There were a lot of celebrities among the guests, and soon they have named this famous building the Flamenco Hotel.
However, following the intellectual legacy of Sir Roger Scruton, and the importance of student-mentoring, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) chose to use its building as a community space. MCC now proudly houses the spirit of community in the old Flamenco building, and awaits its visitors with numerous exciting events.
