Scruton Allee is more than just a café! It’s a community space inspired by the life and philosophy of Sir Roger Scruton. Throughout his life, Scruton stood for the values and of community, knowledge, and rootedness as principles that continue to shape our identity today.
As a tribute to Scruton’s personal and philosophical legacy, we’ve chosen the apple as a central motif. He spent much of his life on his family farm, where apple trees flourished and annual apple festivals celebrated a life in harmony with nature. For Scruton, the apple represented more than just fruit — it was a symbol of beauty in the everyday, of tradition, of health, and of supporting local farming.

Naturally, the apple appears throughout our menu, most notably in our signature dessert: Scruton Apple. Think of it as grandma’s apple pie, reimagined with a modern twist as the perfect pairing for a cup of coffee or Scruton tea.
We also offer handcrafted mocktails for a refreshing, alcohol-free experience, and our fridge is always stocked with artisanal products from local producers — tasty, wholesome, and immunity-boosting.

Reservations to Scruton are a service available to all our guests. As soon as you enter, you are immediately enveloped in a cosy atmosphere full of life and vibrant energy. The elegant interior, modern details, and attentive service all contribute to a truly unforgettable experience.
With a reservation, you'll be guaranteed a seat, so you don't have to worry about running out of space. Booking also means faster service, as our venue is equipped to serve orders to reserved tables promptly and to a high standard.
