Our mission is to introduce the traditional and value-driven spirit of Scruton to a wider audience and to ensure its continuity. We seek to present a conservative approach to value creation in a way that is appealing to future generations. This mission is carried out through intellectual debates, professional conferences, as well as cultural and gastronomic events.
The community space also serves as an intellectual workshop, where we aim to help provide answers to the pressing questions of our time and offer guidance. Our guiding principle is “I know what I am doing”, expressed through the transition of knowledge and values in our programs and through our intellectual ethos.
The work of our namesake, Sir Roger Scruton, faithfully reflects the conservative mindset and approach that also define our community space. We are honored that Sir Roger Scruton’s widow actively contributes to our community’s mission, supporting our work with her guidance, regular presence, and the donation of personal items belonging to Sir Roger Scruton.

Our aim is to introduce our audience to as many different perspectives as possible, which is why everyone is warmly welcome at these occasions. Let us broaden our horizons together and enrich the intellectual life of our community.
Share our passion for genuine values, join us at our events, where you can create and enrich yourself: with new knowledge, perspectives, beauty and culture, or even handmade crafts! In our intellectual workshop, exceptional people and opinions are given space, as is creativity. We regularly work with local small businesses and artists, bringing the spirit of creativity and the joy of creation closer to our audience.
Respecting the traditions of our national, folk, and religious holidays, we regularly prepare seasonal programs related to them, building a bridge between the past and the present and carrying our heritage into the modern age.

Our intellectual workshop is supported by our library, which serves as a permanent knowledge base and welcomes lovers of reading with a wide-ranging selection.
Discover the works of Sir Roger Scruton and other outstanding thinkers. Explore the writings of, among others, Balázs Ablonczy, Albert Apponyi, Francis Fukuyama, János Gyurgyák, István Nemeskürty and Oswald Spengler. They are all available to read on site, accompanied by a good cup of coffee.
With our open library, we aim to make the knowledge and conservative intellectual tradition embodied in these works more accessible and closer to a wider audience. Our goal is to demonstrate to the younger generation that this intellectual heritage is not only not outdated but it has never been more relevant than now in the 21st century, known for its individualism.

Culture
The Scruton Community Space is a cultural and intellectual workshop dedicated to preserving, nurturing, and promoting timeless traditional values to a wide range of audiences in an accessible and inclusive way. We place particular emphasis on the value-preserving role of family and local communities.
One of our key objectives is to serve as a new and distinctive platform and forum for scientific, artistic, and public discourse. At Scruton, we harness the community-building power of shared knowledge, offering opportunities for dialogue and for broadening cultural understanding through a wide range of events. Through our programs and exhibitions, we are also committed to providing space and opportunities for talented young people at the beginning of their careers, enabling them to gain experience and develop their talents.
