The Scruton Mammut café is located on the 2nd floor of the Mammut shopping centre, where modern coffee culture meets the value system of the philosopher Sir Roger Scruton. The spacious, light-filled interior and the clean yet distinctive design create a café atmosphere that offers relaxation, inspiration, and a sense of community all at once.
The atmosphere of Scruton Mammut draws inspiration from Sir Roger Scruton’s passion for horseback riding. In his life, horseback riding was not merely a hobby but a pathway to nature, balance, and self-awareness. At his family estate, Sunday Hill Farm, caring for horses and other animals was an integral part of his everyday life.
The personal objects and subtle details found throughout the café reflect this outlook and philosophy.
