The design of our café is inspired by the work and worldview of the philosopher Sir Roger Scruton, who represented the values of community, knowledge and locality throughout his life.

Located on the second floor of the Mammut Mall , the café’s modern interior creates a distinct atmosphere within the bookstore, with the theme of its interior design reflecting on the philosopher’s passion for horseback riding.

Located next to the lake in the former Flamenco Hotel building. We welcome our guests with a seasonally changing menu, specialty coffee, and a wide range of colourful events.

Scruton HUB
The Hun Scruton HUB (The Hungarian Scientific Hub of Scruton’s Heritage) is an intellectual research and community center, bringing together Hungarian and international students, academics, and speakers. Its mission is to preserve, cultivate and reinterpret the work and intellectual legacy of Sir Roger Scruton.
“Conservatism is more an instinct than an idea.” Our main goal is to carry on and represent Sir Roger Scruton’s tradition-respecting values. We are committed to passing on conservative values in an open and welcoming manner, primarily through intellectual debate and cultural events hosted in our community spaces.
The aim of Scruton HUB is to actively participate in international scholarly dialogue therefore creating our own intellectual content is a key objective of work. Our activities encompass of four main areas:
